I got inspired to create Vela Mtl during the global pandemic. As an oyster consumer, I one day decided to make use of the empty shells instead of discarding them. I created my first hand-poured oyster candles and coupled them with a luxury box. I loved the result and was thrilled to apply this concept to many other raw materials in our everyday life that are usually overlooked. Vela Mtl is my outlet to creativity and I am happy to share my journey with you.
